Lydia Picoli is a passionate photographer and filmmaker. She became interested in photography when she was 11 years old and now she works on film projects that challenge societal norms, including creepy, horror-movie-type series. It was through photography that she began to make films that showcase her travels and document socially active, super cool people. She also made “weirdly artistic” series on people wearing realistic animal masks. In the future, Lydia plans to use her photography and filmmaking to raise awareness about global issues she is passionate about. This is her first year as a part of the IYFF team and is dedicated to the success of the festival.
