Katy has 10 years’ experience working as a TV journalist for CNN, CNBC and ABC News. She has won 2 George Peabody Awards — one for CNN’s coverage of Arab Spring in 2011 and the other for CNN’s coverage of the 2008 U.S. presidential election. She has extensive experience covering breaking news and historic events including: the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the 2010 Haiti earthquake, and the British Royal wedding. She has interviewed notable newsmakers and public figures including Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Katy is currently a business news Producer for the CNBC Street Signs program anchored by Amanda Drury and Brian Sullivan. She is a Greens Farms Academy alum, class of ’01. She resides in Hoboken, New Jersey.
